Atlantisaga US-English (Texas)

English is used here as a bridge.
A way for people from different places to come together,

We chose US English on purpose.
It reflects the reality around us.
The nearby base in Ramstein brings many American voices into daily life, and this form of English feels present, familiar, and shared.

British English was not the right fit for this project.
Here, language is seen as part of a shared circle.
When a circle is left, the shared reference changes as well.
That boundary is not drawn out of rejection,
but out of clarity.

Within US English, a Texas-style tone felt right.
Texas is known as the Lone Star State –
grounded, independent, and open-hearted.
The language moves a little slower,
speaks plainly,
and leaves room to breathe.

This tone supports the spirit of the project.
It invites people in.
It does not rush them.
It allows meaning to unfold in its own time.

Here, language is more than communication.

That is why this kind of English was chosen.
